Ideal for quilting and handmade.

My wife does a lot of hand embroidery for quilting, which takes a lot of strength from her hands and needle to get through the layers of fabric and trimmings. She was very pleased with the performance of these needles. Super sharp and goes through the material very well. The only downside is that they are shorter than the needles she has used in the past.

Eye damage, a huge problem!

I am very sorry to write a negative review, these needles have anything but a strong eye. I'm a quilter, use a thimble and have tried many needles. These were the smoothest and easiest to sew needles I have ever tried. The only problem is that I went through the whole package in one evening because the eye broke off every now and then. I contacted Revain, they replaced the last pack and the new pack did the same. I've never had this problem with other needles. The needles are very sharp and…

Great little needles

I have tried many different quilting needles and I keep coming back to these. Roxannes are great, especially when you get 50 a pack, and while I own and love many Clover products, I'm not crazy about their needles. They are harder to fill. Unlike the gaps mentioned above, the eyes of the tulips don't protrude on the sides to make them appear larger for easier threading. That means when you push it through the fabric it goes smoothly and the eye doesn't loop and slow you down. I have rheumatoid…
