I bought this foot to get precise seam allowances. It's really helpful and helps make my stitches straighter.

Great tool! My sewing machine doesn't have a 1/4" line on the needle plate. Since my regular sewing foot isn't a 1/4" size either, it was difficult to get an accurate 1/4" quilt stitch. Now I lay the edge of the fabric over a piece of metal sticking out of the sewing foot and I get a precise 1/4 inch wide seam. I am very happy that I bought this accessory.

This works just as well as the more expensive 'famous brand' I bought for my sewing machine. I couldn't find "Brand Name" and bought it as a replacement. It also makes sewing 1/4" seams easier. When I put 2 of them together (this one and the "Signature" which costs 4-5 times more) I can't tell them apart. I use a Baby Lock Machine.

I bought a Brothers sewing machine to take with me on holiday. I had it for 4-5 years and when I got it I bought another 1/4 inch foot. Well, I was going to drive to Florida for Christmas and try this leg. Much more 1/4 inch allowance than my regular machine. I decided to try this. The price was perfect and hooray! That's a really meager 1/4”! So happy with it!

Very pleased with this versatile (low shank) presser foot. This is ideal for sewing fabric for a quilt that is only 1/ 4" thick. The stitch hole is large enough to allow the needle to move a little 1/4", which is essential when quilting. A nice strong metal leg keeps the fabric flat compared to some competitors that use lightweight plastic. Works great on a Singer Quantum Stylist sewing machine.
