Exactly as advertised

Used for a 3D printing project. The self-adhesive backing sticks well to the PLA filament. Good brightness. good color Easy to cut and solder.

Distance not 6.5 mm

Distance between the LEDs not 6.5 mm as in the picture, but 7.2 mm measured. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but the contraption made for him is useless now.

Pros
  • Always popular
Cons
  • Upgradable

I really like the individual addressing

I like the option of controlling each individual LED separately from the rest. Makes template programming easy and fun. I just wish the stripes were longer.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything fits

Soldering nightmare

They were very easy to program, soldering was a challenge, the pads held up to my resin. Maybe the problem is with me. Regardless, they worked fine. The cloud only contains 1/2 bands and it was almost impossible to get it to turn yellow. Everything bright seemed white.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Alright

Good price and quality

This is my first time buying WS2812 on this reel, I used to use the ones that come in strips of 8 on a stick. My conclusion on this purchase: color quality and brightness appear very high quality. I've had previous strips with very poor color accuracy so it was good to see they were correct. If I could go back in time I wouldn't buy a 144 RGB/m strip, I would choose 60 RGB. /m instead. While it's good to have such a high density of tubes, the size of the copper pads on the strip 144 make it…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
