Shark 14089 8 11NC 5 Inch Stringer Review

When I tried this stringer for auto body repair, I was impressed with its effectiveness. It was easy to use and helped me achieve even and straight lines when applying filler to a damaged area. The 5-inch size was perfect for working on smaller areas of a vehicle. The only con is that it may take some practice to get the hang of using it correctly, but once you do, it's a valuable tool for any automotive repair project.

The image shows a maximum safe speed of 20,000 rpm and is marked 'UK'. I assumed they meant Made in UK. The one I received is stamped with a safe speed of 12,000 RPM and says 'Made in China' on the box. Aside from the color of the paint on the hub, it looks identical to any other brush made in China.

I did not receive what was advertised in the picture. The one I received was red, not a shark. I don't remember the brand, but after the first use, for about 7 seconds, I started untying a lot of knots, which fell apart very quickly. I wouldn't buy this again. It's not certain that those little steely hairs will fly into your eyes.
