Reason 1 star advert was misleading. The do-it-yourselfer will not notice the difference. They said it was for PEX pipe when telling a professional what professional PEX pipe PEX a means. This was for PEX b. I had to send it back.

to start with I want to give this unit four stars because it does everything it is supposed to do. The only problem is that (as far as I know) there isn't a 1/2" connector like this from PEX to a standard 3/4" hose connector. I used this to connect the pipe (shower bracket) that goes to the shower head. I simply lined it up with the hole I wanted the shower to come out of, marked it with a pencil, and then screwed it to a 2x4 piece, which I connected with parallel bolts on either end.
