Smart product with thoughtful design for sharpening hand tools

My comments are limited to using stones to sharpen hand scissors. Normally it would be a little awkward to sharpen a curved blade to mid-length on a pair of pruning shears with a regular sized whetstone. But those thin, postcard-sized stones made the job pretty easy. They were easy to hold and fit into tight spaces. It seems to help.

There are several warnings against using "cheap diamond stones" that they are unevenly spaced, blah blah. However, I have to say that they work very well. In terms of quality they are a thick layer of metal with diamond material bonded to the metal which is the preferred type. As opposed to a thin layer glued to wood, more metal or some other material. Monocrystalline is also the preferred type of this brand. The distribution of the diamond material seems decent to me. It's smaller outside, but

Ideal for sharpening garden tools and some scissors, field knives

This set of three credit card sized diamond sharpeners provides a good grit sequence for sharpening knives and tools (especially scissors, pruners and shears). 220, 600 and 1200 grit correspond to coarse, medium and fine. I have used them to sharpen kitchen shears and pruning shears. With thin sharpeners I can sharpen the entire edge of the cutting blade, especially near the axis.
