There are several warnings against using "cheap diamond stones" that they are unevenly spaced, blah blah. However, I have to say that they work very well. In terms of quality they are a thick layer of metal with diamond material bonded to the metal which is the preferred type. As opposed to a thin layer glued to wood, more metal or some other material.
