worked great for what I needed

I'm not a sharpener, but putting a little bit on a piece of leather makes my chisels razor sharp. Not sure if this is the intended purpose but it works great for me. I tried to polish metal with it, but the result didn't convince me. But for sharpening wow. And this thing lasts.

It might work in a pinch, but there are better brands out there.

Works well but I find it too waxy for polishing paste. I don't find it grainy enough to get a really good finish compared to the mixes I've bought in the past. Instead of rubbing the band with an abrasive, it is filled with wax, which then needs to be brushed off with a wire brush. I would try to find an alternative brand if you can.

Good product fit sharpener

Good polishing paste block. Doesn't dry out like others I've bought. As you can see in the picture, it fits perfectly on a sling. I would have preferred it to arrive intact rather than broken. It doesn't appear to be as abrasive as other green compounds I've worked with. I don't know if that's good or bad yet (your opinion may differ from mine). After many passes over the tape I see very little discoloration of the tape with metal particles turning it black.
