This item does what it is intended for, it is sturdy and has a magnetic back which makes it much easier to store on the sharpener. It sticks I bought it to use with my 10" Grizzly slow speed wet grinder because the angle adjuster that comes with it sucks. If you've lost your Tormek version you know what you're getting, if you have a Grizzly I doubt you'll be disappointed with your purchase.

I bought this to use with my Grizzly Wet Stone Sharpener as it is so much better than the one that came with the machine. Only the price, which is a bit high for a plastic sensor, keeps it from 5 stars. It has a magnet that makes it easy to store with the machine. Just stick it to the case and it stays there. If it has a downside, you need a device that can measure the diameter of the cutting wheel to set it properly, otherwise it can't.
