Mold? leaks? - Art, Painting & Craft Supplies

Some of the pens I received leaked when I first opened them. They may have leaked in transit. I wiped off the excess ink on the outside and put the cap back on. A few days later I opened the lid and guess what I found. MOLD on the tips of the brushes! I didn't check the pens until I got them - I just wrote a few letters on Rhodia paper. Now there is almost no ink left to leak. The ones that don't leak seem good, and I actually really like them. Half of the kit I received was leaked when Iโ€ฆ

NO BLEEDING ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

The hard tip of the brush allows you to control the thickness of the lines. I've done a few projects already and they still have plenty of ink. The attached photos are just a quick example of how well the tip works and shows no bleeding from one line to the next. The script was written on a very thin flour burlap kitchen towel. I didn't leave any dry time between letters or words. The piece of cake was made on a canvas apron, also with no drying time between colors. The line is just an exampleโ€ฆ

This is a game changer for collectors of embroidered patches.

I bought these fabric markers to add color to my combat jacket. As you know, most bands release logo patches with plain white embroidery. That's all well and good, but sometimes you just need a bit of color in the mix. These Stained By Sharpie pens are perfect for the task. With just a light press and a quick swipe across the front of the logo, you can transform a white speck into something completely different. You can even get a gradient effect like on the Skeletonwitch patch in the attachedโ€ฆ

Great for kids projects

I am a 3rd grade teacher and bought these for the kids to make end of year t-shirts (to decorate on the front and sign on the back). The children really enjoyed this project. I've used another brand in the past which was awful, very dull, but these were really bright and had a brush-like tip that made them easy to use on fabric. It was difficult for the kids to get used to writing on cloth at first, but once they got the hang of it they really enjoyed it. A few of them washed them and wore them

Brand comparison: Sharpie good but not the best

I bought three brands of fabric markers: Crayola Fabric Markers, Stained by Sharpie and TULIP 28976 Fine Writers Markers. This review is a comparison. TULIP was my favorite without a doubt. They flowed just right, not too dry and not too watery. The colors were vibrant. I will order more. The advantage of Sharpie markers is that they do not require heat setting. Unlike most fabric markers, they don't need to be ironed before washing, which saves a lot of time. However, they were also the driest

Shapie Tissue Pin Reimagined for Fashion Rebranding

My Sharpie Tissue Pin dried out because I didn't close it tightly enough. I bought another one and the price was 5 times what it was before. And so Sharpy hired the laundry stick. I called Sharpy and they told me Spotted Sharpy was a replacement for a laundry handle. I have to write my kids names on clothes and stuff so I have a set. The Sharpie Stained tip is different from your regular marker and scouring pen. The Sharpie Stained brush tip is longer and sharper than older laundry pencilsโ€ฆ

Dries fast. Won't bleed Washable

I made a wedding keepsake quilt for guests to write messages on. After trying Tulip fabric markers (which bled so badly you couldn't see detail) and reading other reviews of several brands of fabric markers, I decided to try the Sharpie brand. I was NOT disappointed! They have been specially made for creating artistic designs on fabrics, but are also suitable for creating/dyeing designs or writing messages on a memory blanket. Since I was making a cotton wedding commemorative blanket, I made aโ€ฆ
