I used this tool with a 12" extension and 5/8-11 hex shank to cut through 16" bricks and it worked like a spell. I cut like butter. It has an abrasive on the side to make a hole just a hair's breadth larger than the entire saw. Makes inserting and removing the saw a breeze. Using a Milwaukee 4 1/2" angle grinder, then a 7" Dewalt angle grinder and a 6" extension, I cut to length and diameter This drill bit (4x4") gouged through a solid concrete wall in less than 5 minutes. Not sure how well it would work but was pleasantly surprised with the results. I bought two of these SHDiamtool bits, 50mm and 32mm, for custom work in sandstone blocks 2" to 2-1/4" thick. So I made a template out of plywood and 2x4 with the same hole sizes and layout that I need for the blocks. simply ensuring that the bit does not slip or wander upon initial contact with the stone surface.
