Very well made shirt! It's thin but can double as a windbreaker or keep you a little warm on a windy day but is light enough for my 3 year old to wear even in 30 degree weather. Haven't tried it in the pool yet but I'm sure it will be perfect in terms of comfort, protection and quick drying. My 3 year old son comes in 90% wearing 3t/4t clothes. I was looking for a light boy UPF 50 sweatshirt. This sweatshirt in such a lovely yellow color is suitable for both boys and girls. My kid is 10 and wears most things in a size 12 and it fits perfectly. She loves how soft and super light it is and I'm glad she gets the extra sun protection.
