Good durable caster. The wheel assembly is approximately two and a half inches from the bottom of the wheel to the top of the locking plate. The length of the threaded portion is about an inch, not two inches as the description would suggest. Standard thread 5/16", non-metric. Installed on a tool stand and they work well, are stable and roll easily on smooth floors.

They arrived quickly and well packaged. They were just what I needed to replace the wheels on my cast iron plant cart. The metal was strong and the well articulated rubber wheels were solid. I knew the threaded portion would be a little longer than I needed, but I love the extra height. They screw in easily, the plant trolley is balanced and rolls very easily. Will definitely order again if I need spare wheels.

4.5 stars. These 2 packages make it a deal. Bought 8 pieces. I just installed. Replaced double plastic wheel with PVC chairs. They look four times stronger than plastic. For a covered outdoor terrace. Have to see how the bearings/chrome hold up. Looks like they're doing fine. On 2-3 of 16 wheels the threads were stripped slightly. I used 2 keys and easily bypassed the problem area. ok after that You look and the work will still be. Buy 2 more sets for another chair. Time will tell, so far so…
