They slipped right out of the 1/4" threaded hole, many other 1/4" screws fit the threaded hole but this one does just fell out I opened the package and was able to use them by wrapping the tape around the threads so no need to return them no wonder they have been discontinued!

The description says 1/4" shank. The packaging doesn't say the stem diameter, just that you have to drill an 11/32" hole for the nylon bushing. The shank itself is more like a 3/ 16 inches, too small for a hole already drilled.

Feels like a quality slide but the shank is 3/16" instead of 1/4" as advertised. A small 3/16 stem threads into the nylon bushing that comes with the kit. The nylon piece is designed to be inserted into a 11/32" hole, probably for wood furniture, and then screwed into the guide. Aluminum table for the terrace, so the purchase was pointless.

Great sliding pieces for furniture. So happy I found her at Revain. I have a George Nelson bench that I bought from DWR but two sliders were missing on one side. I did not notice.
