Sturdy and Reliable Caster

After I put it to the test and moved my heavy bookshelf with ease, I can say that this caster is a lifesaver for my furniture needs. It's durable and can hold a lot of weight, making it perfect for DIY furniture projects. Plus, it's easy to install and fits well with other furniture hardware.

Pros
  • Sturdy and reliable for heavy furniture.
Cons
  • None observed. Tools and Home Improvement aficionados, this is the caster you've been waiting for!

Grip rings are great, but there's a problem!

Grip rings are great but hard to find sockets for 7/16 inch reel shafts. First of all it is difficult to find sockets and then most sockets ordered online are too small for the roller bars. When you finally find the sockets that fit the reel shafts, you will need to remove the ring grip around the reel shaft and make the circumference of the ring grip shorter so that it fits snugly enough on the reel shaft for the ring grip to fit the socket.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

The ball bearings came out after 4 1/2 months.

They were used in my husband's office chair. He's a big guy, almost 300 pounds. Five of them, totaling 875 pounds, were supposed to carry his weight but failed. Now, without bearings, the wheels don't spin easily on the stem, and the chair is difficult to move, especially under weight. No guarantee? There is also a carrying capacity discrepancy between the title and the description. The title says 175 pounds but the description says 110 and lists a different model. In any case, he still had to…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
