Grip rings are great, but there's a problem!
Grip rings are great but hard to find sockets for 7/16 inch reel shafts. First of all it is difficult to find sockets and then most sockets ordered online are too small for the roller bars. When you finally find the sockets that fit the reel shafts, you will need to remove the ring grip around the reel shaft and make the circumference of the ring grip shorter so that it fits snugly enough on the reel shaft for the ring grip to fit the socket.
