Easy to change, works better than original equipment.

Very simple. It took my sixteen year old son about ten minutes to replace it on his Schwinn bike. Easy setup, just watched the video on YouTube. Did it for the first time, just had to break the chain, $5 in the sports organ. Has been working fine for about a month.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Nice versatile switch.

I bought this derailleur to fit an old 8 speed bike and gift it to someone who needed a good bike to ride on. It was exactly what I needed and it works flawlessly. There are many people who think that an inferior component is no good, but I can tell you that it is Shimano and is way better than what I had on the top tier in the 60's or 70's.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Secret

This is a great switch for the price

This is a great switch for the price. I installed it on an old mountain bike that I converted into a city bike and it worked great with my other new components. Very smooth shifting. I have 2 other bikes with the same derailleur and they are great for repairs that don't require expensive components. If you're looking for a good switch, you can't go wrong with this switch.

Pros
  • Stylish design
Cons
  • Fits
