This is the way.

I bought the 6800 kit, cassette, derailleur and chain. The gear spread combined with the compact 50-34 is great, especially if you live in mountainous terrain. Shifting is flawless and smooth. I started with Dura Ace 12-28. I'm getting older and 11-32 is much better. Should have picked it from the start. Don't hesitate - act.

Pros
  • Includes locking ring
Cons
  • Quality

Excellent half-step transfer across the board.

Superb Half-Step Cassette Series! Most 11 speed road bikes come with an 11-28 cassette, skipping the 16 and 18 tooth cogs required for race conditions and relatively flat or hilly terrain. So this cassette gives you all gears for all speeds, except when climbing very (very) steep hills, which I rarely do. When I'm climbing mountains, I can switch the cassette to 11-28.

Pros
  • Made in Japan
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Functionally excellent, but with some limitations

Functionally excellent, but with some limitations. Replaced an 11-32t 105 11 speed cassette with this Ultegra cassette (same specs) and found that the Ultegra needed an extra large spacer between the hub and cassette. Second, I don't see any functional advantage between the 105 and Ultegra - both shift smoothly and work flawlessly. Very small weight difference; otherwise you just pay more.

Pros
  • HG-EV 11-speed cassette sprocket
Cons
  • Exterior
