I love my 12" scale. I used my friend's Woodcraft, but as another reviewer said, the metric side is relatively useless for 99.9% of my work "An inch scale on both sides is a plus. but I don't know what can be done to solve this problem. It is straight, flat and thin in design. If it were easy to lift, it would likely fail in the "straight, flat, skinny" range. I either push it to the edge of the bench or put it on something else like a rag, wood shavings, etc. Other than that, I like it. I've slowly been collecting Shinwa tools and each represents excellent value for money. I'm glad I found this company. I wish they made more tools!

This line is exceptional in every way. The markings are accurate and easy to read, there are no problems with glare from the lights, and the ends line up perfectly with my driver's seat. As a carpenter, I value each of these qualities. The ruler came in a soft protective case that can be used for storage. I recommend this ruler to anyone who values precision.
