🧹 12-Gallon 6 Peak HP Stainless Steel Corded Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum by Shop-Vac Review

The vacuum cleaner is great, it does its job. High suction power, nozzles make it easier to work in hard-to-reach places. The vacuum is taller than I expected, making it easier to maneuver than before. The only problem I have is that the hose is too short for my liking.

This is exactly what I need in the shop and it fits my spot perfectly. The problem is the vacuum came with the wrong tool rack so I can't install it and one of the power cord pins was broken. So if I ever wanted to wind up the power cord, I couldn't. Luckily I use a vacuum all the time, so winding up the cord isn't a huge problem.

Hose and tubes are too small for this vacuum cleaner, the paper filter fell apart when dry picking and when the paper came off the filter the metal mesh tore the bag making a big mess. Blow dust through the impeller. I hope no invisible damage has been done. I haven't tried the wet grip yet. The suction power is amazing but I would buy better quality included items somewhere.

Basement with stove and cobwebs and general dust and dirt and dirt and fine dust under the high-pile carpet 30 years are not up to this machine. I bought a few extra bags and they did a great job with the extra fine dust that accumulates in the furnace and ash over the years. With bags, you didn't need to wear a twilight mask. suction power was great too. didn't lose much suction when the bag was almost full.

Edited Review: I downgraded my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. I have only used the vacuum for about an hour since January 31, 2020. It's April 9th, 2020 and Shop Vac is closed. The engine made a terrible noise, smoke came out of it, and it stalled. The company I bought it from didn't help. The shop vacuum was useful, but the engine is on standby until June. It's been a while since I bought the Wetvac. I ordered one and was paid for and received two units. Quite frustrated because I would have had to pay to ship the unit which I found cheaper at Lowe. Instead of taking a $40 loss, I kept both. The vacuum isn't as powerful with a 1-inch hose, and we don't know what manufacturers think about just sending that hose size there. I went out and bought a 2 inch hose with attachments and now the device works as far as I can remember and sucks up everything
