Well done, 1 1/2 wide. A 1 inch spatula is too small for these clamps. Not stuck. I feel bad about the order but the AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE is still AWESOME!

Easy installation, no rivets required. The paddle is attached to the side of the Pelican Bass but will not fall out. Very durable, worth the money.

Worked to hold my kayak paddle well until the head of the screw came loose. Guess I'll have to add some washers to the bolts when I get them back on my kayak next year.

I prefer this type of paddle holder but can get in the way when swinging the paddle depending on the boat. I've sometimes used one of these on the back and a strap on the front so I don't hit it with the paddle while I'm moving.

Great addition to our kayaks. Our kayaks had paddle grooves but they weren't very reliable so I wanted something more reliable. You are perfect. They are made from durable rubber to provide a good grip on the paddle handle, yet are flexible enough to accommodate any size paddle. Easy to install and bolt directly onto our polyethylene kayaks.

I bought this to keep the paddle in place over the kayak when I'm standing and fishing. I modified it by cutting off some of the fasteners so it doesn't "snap" but just sits there and prevents the paddle from rolling/slipping off the kayak. So far, so good! I really liked them at first until I used them (they ripped off the second time).
