Makes installing the GL1800 seat much easier

Works great, nice sharp taper. Only 4 stars because I'd rather have a shoulder than a full-length threaded stud; Otherwise, mounting the seat on the GL1800 is much easier.

Pros
  • Set of four screws
Cons
  • Some bugs

Not hardened - they bent after using the bike mount rails

My only complaint is that the kit I installed is bent after using the bike mount rails on the van. so i had to buy another set. I wouldn't know if I didn't have to rent a location for another project.

Pros
  • The screws are there to make it easier to attach the seat
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

EVERYONE NEEDS A GOOD SCREW :-)

my Goldwing. They fitted perfectly when the new seat arrived with no problems. They're only slightly longer than the OEM item, but again, no problems using them. They're not really any better than an OEM item, but they look better. That's good news. The bad news is they're in the gussets that hold the seat in place, so you can't see them. I sleep well at night though after replacing the original screws. Have a nice day everyone.

Pros
  • Fits Honda GL1500 OEM seat without backrest and GL1800 OEM seat 2001-2017 with or without backrest
Cons
  • Socket required
