It's plastic but hangs and stays strong until you fill it up then it can slip off. You have to be careful and you have to run it about 100 times to get started. Worth the money, love it.

Very handy for people who find it difficult to bend down (or get frustrated) in the shower trying to pick up a slipped bar of soap. I've just renovated my shower so the dispenser was only recently installed. So far so good, holds up well. Follow the directions and stick the backing to the wall and let it 'cure' overnight before attaching the soap-filled front 'tank'.

I installed this in my kids bathroom to get rid of clutter and soap waste. My six year old can easily use this soap dispenser. My two year old daughter has a hard time but I don't mind because if it were easy I'm sure she would play with her all day. It dispenses a good amount of soap while still sticking firmly to the wall. I've had it for about 5 months now and I'm still very happy with my purchase.

I hung them on the shower wall with Command Velcro so it doesn't get sticky if I decide to move them and they hold up great. It takes a lot of pumping on the first fill, but refills keep flowing. I have very long hair so it takes me 5 or 6 strokes to get a handful but this is a one handed operation so the extra strokes are worth the convenience. I only wish I had received three cartridges to add one to my body wash. Highly recommended!

I bought it because at my age stretching out or bending over in the shower can be painful.hehe. This product measures 7" to 8" and holds approximately half a bottle of medium body wash. Do not use laundry that is too thick. A single button pump does not produce much soap, so multiple pumps are required. It is made of plastic and can become brittle if dropped on a hard floor. The only reason I gave this product 2 stars is because it came with self-adhesive stickers and it actually sticks to the wall well. it didn't fall!
