Great deal for the money, half the price of the parts trade. It works as it's supposed to, but makes an electric whistle at high or medium speed. I hope this goes away. Not very loud, but enough to annoy you on a smooth ride.

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 DRW 4WD Laramie 5.9L. This motor only took 5 minutes to install using a T20 Torx bit to remove 3 screws. He got the old one out, installed this motor, hooked it up and got air straight away. The engine was a bit noisy at first, but over the last few days it has become quieter. It took me about an hour to remove the old block from my 2002 Grand Cherokee Limited because the last bolt was behind a thick wiring harness and in a position that I could put it in only see with one eye, so didn't feel the depth. After that fight I wasn't hoping to use this one but it only lasted about 10 minutes and the last screw took 7 if those ten minutes.
