Last year I bought one of these for colored pencils and decided to buy another one for gel pens. This is a great product for keeping my little ones away from crayons. However, I found inserting the gel pens a bit more difficult. You have to alternate the handles so that one is top right, one is upside down, etc. to get them on properly and I had a bit of trouble zipping them up once they were all inside. Misadvertised Product Shulaner 180 Pocket Colored Faux Leather Pencil Case Large capacity organizer tote bag. What you really get is a suitcase with 3 removable compartments instead of 4. The 4th compartment is attached to the back of the suitcase where there should be 2 mesh pockets, one with a zip and one without. There is a semi-mesh pocket on the front of the suitcase for papers or books. The actual number of slots in this case is 172, not the 180 they advertise. I posted 2 pictures to show

LOVE this pencil case! It's huge! It's the size of a large folder. And it appears to be durable (time will tell). I LOVE LOVE LOVE this is the folder! I can take out "pages". And there is a place where I can keep color swatches. It's bigger and chunkier than I expected, but I like that the panels are removable with pens and pencils so I can pop the ones I need into the slots and just grab that part to be clear to be positive . The downsides are that many of the pens I have don't fit in the slots or are difficult to insert as shown in the videos and photos posted with this review. If your pens have grips or rubber parts, they most likely won't fit in the slots provided, or if they have a comfortable grip like Inkjoy gel

I looked at many different cases and read many reviews before deciding on this one case . I am very happy with my decision. This case is designed for standard size pencils, it will not work with thick/large pencils, each pencil has a separate slot. As this is a 3 ring binder you can add other pages as well as long as they are thin. I was pleasantly surprised that I could also squeeze in a 50-page sketchbook. Overall a great purchase. I bought this for my friend. He is a professional artist and has struggled to find a pencil case for all of his Copics and Prismacolors.
