My 4 year old Shurflo pump, originally installed by Winnebago, had a defective check valve and would kick in briefly about every 15 minutes to repressurize the lines. I bought this unit to replace a FloJet water pump in a 2015 Keystone. This pump has retractable ports sealed with O-rings. An o-ring was leaking and I "upgraded" to this pump as the inlet and outlet are threaded and have no leaking o-rings. The pump is easy to install (almost like any other). It comes with an isolating mount. I'd say it's *significantly* quieter than the Surlo pump it replaced, so that's a big plus. I'm a regular nerd who "gets nimble" on the weekends. It was a very easy job replacing my old cheap Shurflo that was vibrating out of my cheap RV tubes.
