Since receiving this product I have polished and polished both my cars and most of my boats. Amazing results! Easy to use and does what is advertised. This company has a great website with all sorts of tutorial videos to teach you how to use their products. The composition they sell is fine as is their polish. Bought a year old black car that had hundreds of micro scratches on the paintwork. I used my polishing buffer for the worst, then used it to remove swirl marks and small scuffs, then rubbed it on all 4 cars, a full size truck and a Harley. It worked great and is still holding up. Worth every penny. The included polishes/waxes and pads are also of good quality and worth buying together.

Overall I'm really impressed with this tool and starter kit. The only area I had to dock the star to was the power button. This switch is sensitive, I mean ridiculously sensitive. I've just spent the last 8 hours detailing my boat and this switch was the most tedious part of the buffing and polishing process. If you so much as look at this damn funny thing, it will burst and shut down the machine. Without that switch, this would be a 5 star rating, no question.

This DA polisher is fine, the power button and speed dial are in very strange places. It's difficult to keep hitting the switch and trying to pick up speed while maintaining control and contact with the surface. To date I have only been able to use this polisher about 10 times when the backing plate just came loose. It also worked a couple of times when it wouldn't turn on, and sometimes the motor whined and wouldn't rev. It stopped doing that, so it's still working for now, but I'm definitely…

This combination of Shurhold polish and this random orbit polisher is a great product. I polished my 18ft Bayliner in about 2 hours and got the absolute best results possible. This polish gives a deep shine and repels water for several months of boat use. Salt water just drips off the polish. This polish worked so well on my boat that I have also polished all 3 of my cars, all with 1 bottle. I liked the quality of this unit also the videos helped a lot but I'm still trying to figure out which of the attachments or connections they sell is the best for my boat condition. The only problem I've found so far is that the on/off button can be easily pressed by hand during use, which can be annoying. I bought a kit that was limited and solved a pretty big problem. I have now bought a few other items to tackle things like a diamond cut boat deck. Hopefully everything will fall into place…
