🔥 Fuel Shut-Off Solenoid 846639 for Briggs Stratton Engines FS-33R877-A1 - Suitable for Lawn and Garden Equipment Review

This solenoid was the perfect match for my Poulan/Briggs & Stratton garden tractor. This was an easy replacement and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a fuel cut solenoid. Make sure you have the correct part number before purchasing. There are several models that are not exact substitutes.

I was really having trouble with this replacement part for my Briggs and Stratton lawn mower. This is the second one I've bought and both are bad. Also, the wiring harness they sent has the wrong connectors on the part that was supposed to connect to the FSV. What's going on here guys?

Used on John Deere self-propelled mowers. Has worked as it should. Very easy to install. If I went back to the dealer. They wanted over 100.00 for the same part. Besides what they would take with them to the job. I know dealers have to make a living, but paying 7x for the same part is a bit pricey.

The handyman wasn't even 2 years old and just stopped walking in the middle of the lawn. The garage said they couldn't even look at it for two weeks. Did a little research and found it was the fuel solenoid. Ordered the part and received it earlier than expected and in just a few minutes the mower was back up and running. Worked great. The only reason I didn't get 5 stars is the wrong wiring harness. I had to make my own. I see some others have complained about this but the description said it was perfect for my model. But it was said why the part was needed. The mower switched off while mowing the creek, just stopped. And there was gas in the tank. So ordering this part helped us.

Perfect replacement and much cheaper than big brands. So it came with a new wiring harness because mine was damaged. I've only come across one other instance where this has happened but while mowing the lawn with my Briggs Intek lawnmower it accidentally turned off and a lot of smoke came out along with a small spark. Okay, low on gas. The plastic on the side of the solenoid has melted, as has the connector. It was a direct replacement and all is well again.
