I'm a full-time wedding photographer and this lens was designed for us. Now I carry 3 lenses with me on my wedding day and this one is never removed from my camera. BEST purchase yet! I am a full-time wedding photographer and shoot with fixed focal lengths. I had a 24-70 2.8L lens that I HATED to shoot with (soft, 2.8 aperture is terrible). I've used some very sharp lenses in the past - Canon 85mm f/1.2L, Canon 135mm f/2L, first Sigma 50mm 1.4 (not Art).
