The right product for me, there were no problems.

I shot weddings with two cameras Nikon D3 + 85 f1,4D and D700 35 f2. I wanted a more serious lens. I thought about buying a sigma 35 f1,4, but paid attention to 24-35. I studied the materials that I could find about him. The focal length of 35 mm is excellent, but I always thought that it would be a little more 30 or 24, especially when everything is fast-paced and does not fit in 35. At such a moment, itโ€™s not up to changing the lens, and Iโ€™m lazy and expensive to wear so much. At the momentโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything that is written and shown about him is true!
Cons
  • heavy? This is his given, all the same 24-35!

Great lens even if it was twice the price.

I'm a full-time wedding photographer and this lens was designed for us. Now I carry 3 lenses with me on my wedding day and this one is never removed from my camera. Sharp, great color and contrast. everything you expect from wide-angle zoom with a wider aperture than ever before. Good job Sigma! I'm including a few sample images I had on hand - I'll try to come back and add my favorites when time allows.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Security

WONDERFUL, sharp, beautiful!

BEST purchase yet! I am a full-time wedding photographer and shoot with fixed focal lengths. I had a 24-70 2.8L lens that I HATED to shoot with (soft, 2.8 aperture is terrible). But I needed a wide angle lens for a limited space (photo prep, large family groups, etc.) and bought this lens. It's worth EVERY penny, I love it. The f/2 aperture is still great and creates a very nice bokeh. It's sharp and fast. I am attaching some photos taken with this lens last night. This might replace myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • No instructions

Sigma has raised the bar for this lens!

Simply spectacular glass, both visually and functionally! Sigma really upped their game and created a one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Its handheld low light capabilities are second to none! Without a doubt, it is in no way inferior to the best fixed focal length lenses! I can't find any flaws with this lens, and that's saying something, as I'm a professional photographer who is very critical of the optical flaws and performance issues I find with glass. I mainly use this lens with my full-frameโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Reliable design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

If you're still thinking about it, just buy

I've used some very sharp lenses in the past - Canon 85mm f/1.2L, Canon 135mm f/2L, first Sigma 50mm 1.4 (not Art). They were all impressive when I used them (especially the 135 and 50) but I was completely unprepared for how sharp/contrasty the Sigma 24-35mm's images were. As a big fan of primes for both image quality and low-light performance, I don't typically shoot with zoom, but 24, 28, and 35 are some of my favorite focal lengths. Despite the impressive reviews and performance of the MTFโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

A very useful addition.

So far this is a five star lens in my opinion. Bought the Nikon version. I just got it last week and have already taken some shots with my Nikon D700 and am still waiting to test it on my D810 which I'm sure will really blow my mind (it already has)!. I've attached some photos I took, some on the F11 stopped in town and some wide open, all on my D700. Many more photos will be posted over time, please see the comments section for a link to my Sigma 24-35 photo album. They were edited to myโ€ฆ
