4K HDR Splitter That Really Works!

Finally a 4K 60Hz HDR splitter that works with my Xbox One X and my 4K HDR TVs. True 4HDR video could not be streamed to both TVs. durable and small enough to place almost anywhere. Simple instructions make setup easy. I definitely recommend this device, it was delivered as promised.

Very SLOW: Splitter

Two problems: 1) When changing the source resolution (e.g. from 720P to 1080i), it takes a long time to adjust and play the video. 2) When the original 4K signal is input. , do not like it - either no picture or intermittent picture. I originally bought this because the mini DTV 4k output is not recognized by the Denon AVR for upscaling. When I placed the splitter between the DTV and the AVR it did its job and the AVR realized it was supposed to upscale the signal. But the slowness and…

Looks well made and does what it promises, can't beat Dolby Vision HDR

1080p monitor. However, I want it to work to pass Dolby Vision HDR. When connected to an Apple TV and two 4k TVs, the Dolby Vision HDR option disappears and you can only select normal HDR. I have a feeling Dolby Vision looks just a little bit better so it's not a big deal but I'm hoping there will be a firmware update in the future that will allow this splitter to pass Dolby Vision.

  • Great price

  • Questionable buy for seniors

Barely worked for a month

One of the outlets stopped working properly after about a month of use. I installed a recent firmware update to fix the problem and after installing it the same output as before and input now doesn't work properly. Luckily I made the purchase over the holidays so I can return after over a month of ownership. Before realizing it, I tried to solve the problem with SIIG. They advised me to start the RMA process for the PSU. I hope to have better luck next time. I will update the review as soon as…

Connected works like a charm!

I bought this unit to use with my NVIDIA display, 70" 4K UHD TV and Optoma 4K UHD projector. All of them are connected to Onkyo AVR. The original splitter I bought I don't understand was only 4k at 30Hz. My TV, AVR and project run at 60Hz. I was able to play 1080p with no problem but the original splitter kept crashing when I tried to use it with 4k. I chose this device because it claims to be compatible with my devices. Plugged it in and tried 4k, it was blinking and the signal seemed to be…

Works great customer service

Works in my Hyperion setup. Definitely transmits 4K@60Hz, RGB 4:4:4, YUV 4:2:2/4:2:0, HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 to the desired device. I'm keeping it in EDID learning mode as the default all-on mode removed all framerate options except 50 and 60Hz. Can't speak to the scaling function - I actually use a more specialized scaler between this splitter and the 1080p device. Haven't tested 24Hz or Dolby Vision yet - I might come back to updating the review when I do. Just a note: if you plan to upscale a 4k

A splitter that actually works with my Apple TV 4k

I had 4k HDR splitters from two other brands before. Both display the screen in 4k @ 60Hz HDR. However, on one of them, the screen goes blank every few minutes and then turns back on. The second goes out too, but only about every 30 minutes. Both splitters worked great at any setting below 4k@60Hz. I figured both couldn't be bad, so I kept getting different brands of 4k HDMI cables. Nothing solved the problem. So I finally read the review that it is the best splitter and tried it. No more…

Great product but there are problems with lossless audio. *Update

Great product but I'm having audio separation issues on a Denon 1912 using an HDMI 1.4 signal and my Sony 4k HDR. PCM 7.1 or 5.1 pass-through only, but when I select lossless audio such as Dolby True HD or DTS HD Receiver decodes lossy Dolby or DTS formats. The Xbox One X has problems when you enable HDR, the receiver cannot decode the sound and stream it to the TV. Even in Blu-Ray and UHD BR. Only lossless audio will work if you disable HDMI Enhanced (2.0 to 1.4) on your TV. I will try EDID…
