I make bulk homemade spaghetti sauce and freezing it in bags has always been a problem. With this freezer bowl I can separate portions, freeze gently and only thaw the portions I need when I want to use them. I'll probably buy more for soups, pestos, stews and other things I like to cook and store. The freezer looks a lot cleaner!

Love the portion sizes for this and absolutely a great way to store homemade frozen sauces soups etc. However, after a single use, the silicone liner began to shrink separating from the plastic frame. I'll try to put it back in place but it won't be easy. Great review product for the price but not something that gets too much use.

If you're only cooking for 1 or 2 people, a lot of food can go bad. I buy big packs of ground beef, chicken breasts, stews, etc. because they're cheaper per pound. Then I fill each section and freeze. They're a good portion for a small meal - chiles, spaghetti sauce, tacos, etc. Another option is to pre-cook the ground beef and then fill the container. All I have to do is reheat and add sauce or seasoning. Also great for freezing leftover soup, chili, smoothies, broth and other liquids.

Just my husband and I. We bought it to be able to portion sauces, sounds and casseroles. This works great except when I wanted to demould the food. The hard plastic border around the rim broke off. It's still usable and I understand why it's there. Just be careful when pushing food out. Don't twist it like an ice cube tray, press the bottom and the food will pop out. I fill the portions into special bags and seal them! The photos show tomato soup made from our homemade tomatoes.

I was apprehensive about buying a silicone ice cream mold as I had had bad experiences with poor quality silicone molds where the ice cream would expand and be almost impossible to remove from the mold was. GOOD: Portions are clearly labeled and the perfect size. I made a batch of chicken broth and froze 4 individual cups for later use. Within 24 hours they were completely frozen and could be easily removed from the shell for further storage in freezer bags (labeled and dated). The silicone is…
