I've used it a few times and washed it by hand and in the dishwasher but the food gets stuck in the grates and I can't get out. I have tried washing and soaking by hand and in the dishwasher. I bought because I wanted something easier to clean than my deep fryer and that's an issue too. It was a waste of money.

This basket is easy to use and prevents fat from getting on the food. Be careful if you try to pick it up while it's hot. It is very flexible and retains heat for a long time. It's a bit tricky to clean, requiring a lot of soaking and brushing. In addition, at high temperatures, the smell of silicone appears.

I received this silicone basket earlier this week and use it in my fryer almost every day. I got the size XL which fits my Cosori Air Fryer 5.8QT perfectly. My fry basket is 9" square and the Simple Lyfe basket is 8.66" in diameter. There is enough room around the edges for airflow, but I still have enough room for a basket. I like that all the oil/fat collects at the bottom of the basket and around the edges, not on the food. Cleaning is very easy. Soak in hot soapy water and it will wash off.

Excellent, high quality product. The silicone is thick and of high quality. This is not your typical low quality thin silicone product from China. I bought size 7.5 and 8.5. 8.5 is perfect for my Cosori 5.8qt. 7.5 is used for smaller quantities. The product is designed with raised areas on the underside to allow for better airflow and the internal fins are higher than most for the same reason. I've used this several times in my Phillips fryer. My basket is 7 x 7 inches so it fits in perfectly. The biggest plus is that you don't have to empty the basket or bottom of the fryer afterwards - it's such a relief. It is very easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher.
