I was hoping for silicone cups with a smooth interior that are easy to clean. They are light in texture, making it difficult to remove the cake cleanly and too laborious to wash. I have another brand that is stiffer and completely smooth inside which makes the cupcake release very easily and rinses out quickly. Although the price is great.

I am 73 years old. I've never thought of silicone cupcake liners but I'm so happy! No more than 1/3 of a muffin or cupcake is stuck at the bottom of a silly paper wrap. Everything pops out and nothing, absolutely nothing, sticks to these wonderful silicone cupcake liners! Cleaning takes minutes. I highly recommend this product and this manufacturer. I bought these because I don't need the bright colors of the rainbow. I didn't want too many different colors either. Not sure why that matters. Not the easiest of cubes to clean, they're tiring, but I found turning them inside out and popping them in the dishwasher worked really well. They're great for making muffins or muffins and then removing the packaging to freeze! Update: I would consider alternatives due to the difficulty of cleaning. I try not to use single use plastic and am now working on not using plastic (including silicone) to store food or things that heat food. I'll still use them but maybe they're better for baby paint,

Those were the worst. I've wanted to switch from my original metal cupcake mold to a silicone mold for a long time. Then I saw them and they had a lot of great reviews!
