Great product, it's made of soft gel material, it's so smooth in the hand but at the same time rough enough to give a decent protection for my control key By the way, I bought the blue/black combo (besides, I like these colors, it's cheaper than buying one by one). I have a 2010 Honda Accord remote control and my key broke twice (brakes where metal meets plastic). I just put it on and the material seems thick enough. I like the glow in the dark effect.
