NOTE: THIS IS NOT AS PICTURED.

I ordered these because the Xbox Original "OLD SKOOL" component cable set had interference issues. Judging by the pictures, I assumed that it was a different cable set. NO, THAT IS NOT SO. These are EXACTLY THE CABLES from the "OLD SKOOL" brand. Once again they were interfering with my TV. Revain needs to change the image as it appears directly on my orders but not on the Revain store page.

Stunning visual effects for a tired system!

I don't know what other reviewers have complained about noise as I don't notice any of these issues. All I can say is WOW; Playing OG Xbox games in HD is great. Owning one of these cables is almost a requirement as they greatly improve picture quality. A few games I've tried so far, some standout games like Halo 2 and Ninja Gaiden Black look amazing! You can almost compare the graphics to what you will see on the Xbox 360, which is pretty insane considering the age of this console!

Unfortunately, they didn't work with my two original Xboxes.

Unfortunately they didn't work with both of my original Xboxes. I read the reviews and had high hopes. My Xbox 1.2/1.3 version just showed a black screen during and after loading. TV showed. 480p single, but then again. Black screen only. My Xbox 1.6 started and I could see the screen. But only 480i, which was about in the pack. It was detected as an enhanced or HD package, so the 480p and 720p activation options were unavailable. I made sure both systems were in NTSC mode and checked the…

Came broken and the signal is loud

I was hoping for the same quality as the component cables I've used in the past, but instead the screen had scrolling lines, screen tearing, transient ghosting of UI elements and text, and other issues. Something is obviously wrong with the clock signal. transmitted through the cable, and I assume (although I haven't cut the cable) that they are poorly shielded or not shielded at all. Worst of all, it arrived physically broken; The white audio cable's male/female RCA connector was bent and torn

Note that these cables are not perfect. You get what you pay for. My cables, like some of the negative reviews, have audio glitches and buzzing. This is very noticeable at higher volumes. I don't know if that's because they aren't shielded audio cables or not. The image quality has improved a lot and I'll leave it alone for that reason. I upgraded from 480 to 1080i on my original Xbox. Looks good, but the hum is a problem. It's not a home sound issue, it's directly related to those cheap…

Worked a little well for supplies and supplies

They only lasted about a month or so. Now there are many static lines on the screen. There is almost no copper in the wires themselves, just a few veins the size of a hair. One could understand why they would fail. I would look elsewhere or maybe shell out $40 for genuine Microsoft component cables. After you've bought enough of these, you might be better off anyway. I'm going to try the Tomee universal component jack and see what happens, and then I'll break down and spend $40 on a proper…

The original Xbox component cable works fine

I don't play video games too often or too well and the only game I enjoyed was Tao Feng which was made for the original Xbox. My TV is a newly wall mounted 65 inch UHD cable and I needed this component cable to connect the original Xbox to my TV. After setting the screen resolution to 1080 and "widescreen" in the Xbox settings, I played Tao Feng, which I don't have and has been played for 7-8 years, the characters and the environment background were impressive (I think the tv did some close…

Great offer for a great product.

I don't understand the negative reviews. This is an inexpensive cable for a console that Microsoft stopped making a long time ago. The OEM versions of this particular adapter are too expensive because people didn't open them up hoping some idiot would pay for them. Anyhow, I'm happy to report that I've had no problems with this cable and it seems to be working without any issues. Of course, the quality won't be as good as Microsoft's, but I have to pass it on to the manufacturer. The only major

Great alternative to Xbox component cables

I was a little cautious when looking to buy this. Many reviews report that the cable causes glitches in the video and audio, namely lines in the picture and a low hum in the sound. Since the alternative to these aftermarket cables is OEM or MadCatz cables for $50+, I took a chance. The first thing that struck me when I received them was that they were definitely cheaply made. The cables seem a bit flimsy(?) and of poor quality. When connecting to the TV, the grip is loose where the other cables
