    Really good fans, can't be beat

    *Upgraded Rating* I'm updating my rating from 4 stars to 1. These fans just aren't reliable. Since my original review, 3 more of these fans have had bearing failures. One was the one I bought to replace the original broken one. They seem to last about 6 months and then start rattling and eventually get so wobbly that they stay put.     An excellent fan for its purpose

    This fan fills a special niche that hasn't been used before. This fan is very thin and also has addressable RGB lighting. I needed a thin fan as an exhaust in my case since my previous one was too shrouded, plus my case consumes a modest amount of RGB and I wanted something more.     Great slim fan with addressable RGB, expensive but worth it

    In my picture this fan is on the right. That's what I need Slim. My radiator needed more clearance to remove the lamb and this fan does the trick. It has two outputs, one for power and one for RGB. This is a 3-pin RGB connector, so BUYER BEWARE. Will probably buy another one to match my two radiator fans.     Check the RGB connection if you want to use it.

    The compatibility convinced me, but when I received the fan, I noticed a serious defect: the 4-pin connector covered one of the pins and cannot be opened. This makes it impossible to connect to a 4 pin connector that doesn't have that pin. The connection manual on the website also states that RGB is compatible with 5V connections, making it incompatible with my MSI B450M Mortar which uses 12V connections.     Big fans, can't match colors.

    Not everything is so good yet. The fans are great. I bought two. Both are connected, one glows and matches my setup, the other gets redder when it matches. Probably yellow. Brought another one to see if I could get it to fit. It's not like this. Try each one directly on the mainboard. One was yellow, two were dark red to orange. No amount of calibration or tuning will change that. I have ordered two more. Let's see if I can get these two matches with the one that's perfect.

    There is no comparable thin RGB fan on the market.

    At the time of writing this article, to my knowledge there are no other thin 15mm aRGB fans on the market. At least on Revain, maybe a lesser known Chinese company has it on aliexpress but I'm not sure. So if you want a thin fan and also want RGB, that's pretty much the only option. They're a great option too! They work perfectly and are within the expected noise level.
