SilverStone Technology 300W TFX

Well made power supply with heat shrinkable cables. The fan is very quiet. Out of the box, all voltage tests are good. It has a (2x4) 8-pin (EPS) CPU power connector as well as a 6-pin PCI-E connector. The cables are sufficient and long enough to assemble the TFX.

Pros
  • Feel Good
Cons
  • Style 90

Good SSF PSU - Internal PSUs

Single SSF PSU with two 4-pin power connectors. Most people only have one, and my setup won't boot without two. Works perfectly

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some nuances

The fan is silent for internal components

The power supply is built-in and works quietly. The only thing I don't like about this PSU is the lack of a power button. This means that if you leave the fan plugged in, it will continue to run (very quietly and slowly) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless you unplug it from the wall or an extension cord with a switch. than I expected but didn't lean well.

Pros
  • Looks nice
Cons
  • I don't remember, but something

very quiet! fits internal power supplies

You can get a working TFX power supply for $30, but at least two I've tried on Amazon were unacceptably loud. The Silverstone PSU is quiet and I had no trouble installing it. I was building an HTPC and a quiet system was a priority for me.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Great stock for a compact form factor

Fits perfectly in my Antec VSK2000 case. Very quiet. Too many ports for my ITX M/B, but the extra cables were easy to hide in the mini-tower case. I think it once had modular cables that I would have paid extra for, but overall I think it was my best bet. I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Some flaws
