Hi Revainians, I've read some reviews saying it doesn't work or fit so I ran into the same issue and wanted to share the results. My hydrants just say Simmons, I think it says HB-2 on it. The Simmons Fire Hydrant Repair Kit was just what we needed! The faucet was very slow to let water through once it was fully open. I suspected that the rubber tip on my rod was defective in some way or that part of the mechanism was bent, causing a flow restriction. I have been using Simmons fire hydrants for 30 years. I owned 5 of these. I had three out on a farm filling buckets and waterers in pastures with run down barns.
