We ordered Simpatch for our young daughter's omnipod and received it just before leaving for vacation (great delivery times!) where we knew she was going to be a big spender of time swimming. The patch has phenomenally withstood many hours of swimming and days at an amusement park in high temperature and humidity. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

Absolutely TERRIBLE spots. I started wearing them a few months ago and they leave a horrible itchy red rash everywhere I put them on. I wear my capsule on the back of my arms and the sides of my stomach and no matter where I put this patch this horrible rash will continue. Photo of the back of my hand taken two days ago. The rash itches like crazy and the area is quite sore. I don't have that sensitive skin. I will never wear these again.

We have been using these patches on my 10 year old daughter for years and love them. We have them for your Omnipod and your Dexcom. She never goes without a plaster! Unfortunately I just received my latest order from Autoship and it is nothing like the ones we have always received. I don't know why the style was changed because it doesn't even come close to being the same shape or style. I hope I can return them because my daughter said they look weird!

I wish these consumables didn't cost so much whether they qualify for flexible spending or not. However, the product is easy to use, it sounds great, and the Omnipod company should recommend it over the useless Tegaderm film. I've had many times where my body sweat caused the adhesive on the omnipod to rub off and fall off. I've used skin adhesives like Skin Tack over the Omnipod and Tegaderm with no success. The OmniPod insulin delivery system is great and usually sticks well. But my partner climbs rocks and occasionally rips off the adhesive on his capsule. We've started using them when additional activity is expected, especially when water is involved. However, you should let them heal for over an hour before jumping in the pool. The product itself (patch without straps) has clean lines/edges, is easy to use/apply and is extremely soft compared to some other patches on the market. I have to admit it helps keep my Dexcom in place. But even in combination with an overpatch from Dexcom, that doesn't even last ten days. I tried using it without the patch provided by Dexcom but it falls off even faster. It usually takes me about seven days before I have to put a second or even third plaster over it.
