My 8 month old is a big boy so I took the 12 month size and it fits him perfectly! Warm enough to be worn in winter without being too bulky. The inside is also soft. Would buy another one! I haven't had any tearing or fading issues and I wash it almost once a week.

Excellent quality and value. Definitely recommend buying it for a kid if you are against big down jackets but still need warmth.

I love this coat for my grandson. We live in Central California, it can be very cold here. (50* days with frost from snow in surrounding foothills) He is 2 years old, tall and thin. I bought a 3T, great! Nice coat, warm. The hood pops up when needed. I can attach the hat perfectly and then the hood. I like the zipper, it has big plastic teeth. The coat is very well made. I wish he could wear it next year

The jacket itself is very cute, soft and keeps my baby warm. However, the sleeves are very narrow. I can hardly put my arms through my child wearing only a long-sleeved cotton shirt. I was hoping to use it over heavier sweaters or shirts but I can't because the sleeves are already tight and there is a thin layer underneath.

This little down jacket seemed like good value for money. but the sleeves are tight! The jacket is too thin for a down jacket, and the child needs to wear a long-sleeved shirt or maybe something thicker. The sleeves should be bigger! This will help my grandson get through the rest of the winter. I wouldn't buy it again.

Great fit, warm and cute. Hood doesn't sleep very well, but my little one has a big head for his age. Also, the smooth lining of the sleeves tends to stick out after putting the coat on, but that's just the look, my kid doesn't care. Good value for money.

Great little jacket for FL in the winter. Not too thick so if you are in a colder climate maybe not suitable for winter but good for spring. Very nice! :)

I wanted something warm and light, this was perfect, the only thing I wish I could get a 5T. 4t fits perfectly but gets tight around the shoulders with a layer underneath making it difficult to get on at times. I'm sure he'll outgrow it quickly, a 5T would be perfect (he weighs 34lbs).

This was a really great coat for my son last winter. So good I bought a size up this year. It is perfect for a car seat as it is neither too bulky nor flimsy. You can wear a sweater underneath for extra warmth. Very cozy and cute unique print. They're so used to seeing dinosaurs and sharks that bears make a nice change!

Got my four year old 5t and it fits perfectly but I have nowhere to grow. I wish there were larger sizes than 5t. I was happy with the material, it's better than the girls version of this jacket, more durable than the garbage bag material in the girls version, but I digress... the sizing is 1-2 sizes too big.

This jacket is made of soft and very comfortable material. Seemed warm enough for a chilly California fall day with a long sleeve shirt and sweater underneath. The print is fantastic and turquoise is my favorite color, I love wearing it on my son. I think we could get 4t as my son is 2 and above the 99th percentile. The 3t fits perfectly but I will soon outgrow it. He is 3ft 2 and 35 pounds

Very good jacket at a very reasonable price (thanks Carter's!). This jacket is best defined as medium. So when it gets cold (below 40F) I just add extra layers as needed. If you are looking for something for under 30 weather, this jacket may not be warm enough. My toddler is medium for a 2 1/2 year old and wears this jacket in a size 3T. I would recommend going up a size if your little one is too big.
