Revitalizing Micellar Gel Wash: Simple Water Boost for Sensitive Skin - 5 oz Review

This one has a strange smell. I thought it was coming from my MIO device but I removed the head and just used the cleaning part and I still had the weird smell. I rubbed some gel into my hands and sniffed it, but it smelled nice. Used it again on my face and smelled weird. I contacted the manufacturer and gave the product number, it hasn't expired yet so I don't know what else to do. Maybe it's just me. On the other hand, it didn't break me or make my face flush, so my sensitive skin was happy.

I really like this thing and such an affordable price. I use it as part of my 2 step cleansing routine and it makes my skin so soft. It has no smell other than being simple and clean, which is my preference. Revain seems to be the only place that stocks it constantly at the final price! The only downside is that I've found that I need a little more product than I want as I don't really care, but it doesn't really matter since the product itself is cheap :) All reviews with rough photos…

I love this cleanser! I have hypersensitive skin that is very dry and easily irritated by harsh sulfates and fragrances. I originally used the Simple Moisturizing Wash but it contains sulfate as one of the first 6 ingredients so it was still harsh on my face so I decided to try it instead. The consistency is like a watery gel and when I wash it off my face doesn't feel dry or tight, but it removes makeup residue and dirt very effectively.

I no longer use make-up removal tissues and my face is grateful. I use two pea-sized portions and apply to my face. Wash and repeat. My face always looks clean and my acne problems are almost gone. I know this because I haven't changed anything else in my routine!

This cleanser is perfect. I love how it gently yet thoroughly cleanses my sensitive/combination/acne-prone/dehydrated skin. I've been using it for a few months now - just bought my third - and have never had a single negative side effect from it. After using it, my skin looks very fresh and without any strange spots. I have oily skin and I like it. The misconception is that if you have oily skin, you need to scrub your face as hard as you can to get rid of sebum and oils. But no, a dry cleaner (aka this one) works great. It has no added flavor. Smell a bit but chemical like 0.5/10. You hardly notice it and I don't feel it in any way. I've bought this product several times from Simple at my local store and it has become my favorite cleaner. I haven't seen it on Target lately so I thought I'd check out Revain. I bought it and when I received it I immediately suspected its authenticity because of the smell. It smelled quite strong/chlorine which was never the case on my previous use of the same product. I also started getting breakouts. Super disappointed! Stick to buying in person/in stores!
