This helped sort out clutter on the desk. This has some subtle advantages over hard, rigid metal sorters. The trays are sloped slightly downwards, which allows the paper to slide more easily as it does not "stick” to the tray itself. Mine didn't look like it was level when I assembled it, but placing the three trays in the grooves leveled it out. A good product. Note. This may fit nicely in a standard notepad, but not in a folder.

I use this to store and dry whetstones for Japanese kitchen knives and it works great for that purpose. The individual posts slide in and out, each with three stones on them, without the slightest hint of flex or brittleness, although for what this post was designed for, I add significantly more weight than it was designed for. I am very pleased with both the performance and the looks of this machine and would highly recommend it. If I collect more stones I will definitely buy another one.

My husband assembled this so can't comment but it's not heavy/heavy. Trays fit into the grooves on the side and slide right out of the stand. Trays are light and thin. Bar up - not sure if that's the goal, other than maybe stability. Do not try to lift the device by holding it! The organizer arrived in its own well packed box which was inside a larger Revain box with other products. It came with most of the individual parts wrapped in its own plastic.
