Chrome Square Push Pump Soap Dispenser by simplehuman, 22 oz. Capacity Review

Looks good for a while until the chrome turns green and peels off. If you're hoping for a temporary improvement in the look of your bathroom, this is a great product. Just be prepared to replace it every year or two. It has never clogged and has worked great, but unfortunately it's just not well made.

Hello, I bought this product in December 2016; almost two years ago. About a month ago the dispenser burst on the lever just above the pump. Now it's almost useless. I really liked the dispenser because it worked and I love seeing how much soap we have left. But for $25 I expected this product to last a lot longer. We don't even use it that often as we have a dishwasher that takes care of most of our meals.

I bought 2 of these about 11 months ago. They work great and I was very satisfied. even if one of the pump handles broke. I went to simplehuman's website, put in some information about the purchase, they asked me to take a picture of the problem, and then they sent me a replacement part for free. After buying a couple of cheap soap dispensers I decided to pay a bit more for these and am very satisfied - and they come with a real guarantee!

After struggling with in store liquid soap dispensers and soap dripping down my counters I decided to give it another try. This is the best. The pump angles are perfect for a light pump. No drip, no mess. I buy large containers of hand soap and keep them stocked. Small ones are best for bathrooms, while large ones are best for one-handed work in the kitchen. I love this thing - it's simple, holds a decent amount of product and the pump works great. One star deducted for the lid. Neither my husband nor I (neither of us are particularly weak) could not move this thing. You have to use the pump itself as a handle as the circumference of the cap is too big to get a good grip, but of course you have to be careful not to tear the pump off. Update 12/31/2019 - I still have this and it still works perfectly! The glossy coating starts to bubble at one point, but this is hardly noticeable. I bought it in November 2016. I could give this review 5 stars but I can't for one good reason. The pump handle is designed to fail after the warranty period and if it fails sooner we will happily replace it. So this is a worrying review as some will not believe what I am explaining. Check out the chrome pump handle where there is a pin it spins on. The stylus is stainless steel and if the stylus were longer and had a head on the outside of the handle, that alone would extend the life of the handle for a very long time, but
