Bad quality control. Big waste of time!

The product arrived with a damaged item called Simpli Home and after a week of waiting a replacement item arrived. Just a note: There are no components assembled in this cabinet. An amazing number of steps. It depends on you. So my husband and I got to work. They use screws that require a hex wrench to screw into pre-drilled holes. Very slow process. They also use a system of cams and pins to hold some parts. After spending more than five hours we near the finish line to find that the main…

My honest rating is good and bad

It is difficult to find a piece of furniture under $ 300 - that is - it looks very nice (but it does not look obvious), furniture, it is attractive and can to be used in any room in the home (I ORDERED IT IN LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN WHICH IS REALLY MEDIUM GOLDEN BROWN) AND PLACED IN THE HALLWAY. Mismatched and incorrectly drilled parts I have two of these. An item that has holes drilled in the wrong places on one side. I had to redrill 6 holes to fix the problem and they were a bit off because I don't yet have the tools I normally use in our new location. The other block has the wrong screws for the handles and the ones supplied are slightly different from the spares I've bought for other purposes. Pleasantly surprised and on reassembly I understood why others had problems

I think I should give this one 4 stars. He wasn't "perfect". There were very minor issues with stains and light ringing or something like a few random nail holes. There is a small knot hole on the front of one drawer and the corner back is torn (in the packaging. Can't be as I treated it like glass.
