I've been making half and quarter square triangles and have found that adding this special ruler saves a lot of time. My accuracy has skyrocketed. I am now transitioning to Flying Geese and I expect positive results from this endeavor as well.

The easiest way to make stars and flying geese and I've found several uses for this line that go beyond its design intent. The 1/4 inch marks on the edges are very handy for trimming blocks to size without cutting tips.

Ideal for preparing flying geese and much less waste than the traditional method. Also, an obtuse angle is the best way to measure and know if a 1/4 inch seam allowance is within the normal range. I know there is another way to create a block using a different ruler, but I wanted to learn the method using this ruler in an online course. It is easy to use and create blocks with this ruler. I think I can enjoy online classes more and more with this line.
