Great take away product!

Excellent product for cutting out appliquΓ© patterns. It's much easier to bend and shape the edges. This allowed me to use templates over and over again. This helps to keep the curves smoother in the process much better than fusible webs.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Can be added

Too thin and not worth the price

I was so disappointed when I opened the box and saw this. It is too thin to be used as a template for a quilt. It's a little thicker than a sheet of paper. I think you could use it when you polish your nails so it won't dirty your table. Doesn't match the price at all.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Ideal for creating quilt patterns

I am making quilts for dolls and need templates for triangular pieces for quilts. I use a cutter and ruler along with a template to cut out the fabric. Mylar seems to get hit occasionally by a spinning cutter without getting serious dents. I'm new to creating quilt patterns but this was easy to use to create straight line patterns like squares, rectangles and triangles.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Save money! Use freezer paper. I bought this in 2016 to use for quilt templates needed to iron out creases. I was specifically looking for heat resistant products. My travel iron instantly melted this template. I bought 3 sheets and really want my money back but it's been over a year since my purchase so I'm out of luck. When it happened I was away from home on a quilt retreat, I was so disappointed. But someone suggested the freezer paper that was in the closet and it worked great! Use several

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
