It's not even 17 inches tall and brand new before I even sat down to "squeeze" the padding. I have long been looking for a modern bench that fits in a very small space near the garage door exit. I was drawn to the clean lines of this piece and of course the small size. Other websites indicate that this bench is more of a greyish driftwood color than the Revain's dark brown. I would say the wood is darker but has a slightly aged look which is trendy. I am very happy with this little bench in style and function and even happier that it fits in the tiny space I needed it for.
