Our candelabra have always been fickle; some bulbs glow; some not. Eventually it turned out that the ledge on the underside of some onions is too flat. Thanks to these extension cords, the bulbs earned 100%.

These extensions work well and have the correct type of screw. The brown insulating sleeves sit very tightly on the lamp's screw base and are sometimes difficult to attach. While extensions screw in properly and perform to specifications, the resulting extension may not perfectly match the bulb and socket. But it works, and sometimes that's all you need.

We received a 30 year old lamp from our daughter when she was renovating her dining room. However, the fixture required a very long bulb base, which we could not find. These socket adapters provide additional base length for modern candelabra lamps to secure the lamp base. Now we have a beautiful lamp for our bedroom.

I think I will say that the item arrived in a reasonable time even though there is a pandemic going on right now and the item is from China. And yet arrived a few weeks early. Very bad experience, that's for sure.
