Not so good with fasteners in picks

These nails bend easily when driving nails. The price was also high but cheaper than local shops. I reluctantly bought them because I had to. I suggest others look for a better deal. I checked the weight and it was accurate.

Pros
  • Most sizes available in 1 and 5 lb cartons
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Expensive and easy to bend

Paid $42 for Β£5. of these. I need to fabricate a sub floor and nail down corrosive pressure treated wood joists. The nails are a bit thin and tend to bend. To update. I've found that if you use pliers and hold the nail while nailing, they bend a lot less.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Lots of bent nails! Good for dismantled fasteners

There were warnings in the reviews that these nails bend easily, but I attributed them to inexperienced people. Well, my arrogance has definitely caught up with me! I used them to nail poplar siding around my house. Poplar is not such a hard wood. I initially started counting bent nails, but quickly gave up. I suppose I bent about 30-40% of the nails and had to pull them out. Pre-drilling the holes helped a bit, but I still ended up with a big pile of bent nails. The good news is I bought more…

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
