Review on 🌲 Simpson Redwood S8SND5 5 Pound Stainless by Bryan Gallardo

There were warnings in the reviews that these nails bend easily, but I attributed them to inexperienced people. Well, my arrogance has definitely caught up with me! I used them to nail poplar siding around my house. Poplar is not such a hard wood. I initially started counting bent nails, but quickly gave up. I suppose I bent about 30-40% of the nails and had to pull them out. Pre-drilling the holes helped a bit, but I still ended up with a big pile of bent nails. The good news is I bought more than I needed and I'm done - and hopefully they don't rust.
