Amazing product. Extra strong, eg for connecting double beams. Cuts fully into wood and seems to have a fantastic finish that will work on treated pine too.

They appear to be very strong but their heads are large and sit on the surface of the wood rather than sinking into it. This is just my opinion but I won't be buying more of these because if I use them on the ground I have to use another bit to push the head below the surface of the wood. Otherwise people cling to it with their feet. I'm not a carpenter, maybe I don't understand something?

These are high-quality structural screws. The literature available from the manufacturer is excellent for determining allowable loads. The torx notch is deep enough to be very secure when riding. I'm a pilot who drilled most of the mine. The head is very large and has a good bearing surface. I think they are very safe for their allowable rating.
